Sunset Community Health Center - Wellton provides a variety of dental services to patients of all ages, including:

During a dental cleaning, the dentist or hygienist will remove plaque and tartar from your teeth. During a dental exam, the dentist will check your teeth for cavities, gum disease, and other dental problems.
• Fillings: Fillings are used to repair cavities. The dentist will remove the decayed tooth material and fill the hole with a tooth-colored filling material.
• Crowns: Crowns are used to cover a tooth that has been damaged by decay or trauma. The dentist will remove the damaged tooth structure and then fit the patient with a crown, which is a tooth-shaped cap that is cemented onto the tooth.
• Root canals: Root canals are used to treat tooth decay that has reached the tooth’s pulp. The dentist will remove the decayed pulp and then fill the tooth with a root canal filling.
• Extractions: Extractions are used to remove teeth that are decayed, damaged, or impacted.
