The Catawba Valley Community College Student Dental Hygiene Clinic is a teaching clinic where students in the Dental Hygiene program provide preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene services to the public under the supervision of licensed dental hygienists and dentists.

The clinic offers a variety of services, including:

• Comprehensive dental hygiene examinations
• Prophylaxis (cleaning)
• Fluoride treatments
• Sealants
• Root planing and scaling
• Periodontal therapy
• Oral cancer screenings

The clinic is open to the public, but priority is given to patients who are uninsured or underinsured. Appointments are available on a walk-in basis or by calling (828) 624-5258.
