Stephen D. Ratcliffe Community Health Center (CHC) is a non-profit dental clinic located in the historic Southside neighborhood of Birmingham, Alabama. The clinic was founded in 1973 by Dr. Stephen Ratcliffe with the goal of providing high-quality dental care to the underserved and low-income residents of Birmingham.

The dental team at Stephen D. Ratcliffe Community Health Center is composed of experienced dentists, hygienists, assistants, and other support personnel who are committed to providing comprehensive dental care in a safe, inviting, and culturally sensitive environment. Services provided include general dental exams, cleanings, fillings, root canals, dentures, and dental implants. The clinic also offers oral cancer screenings and referrals for oral surgery if needed.

Stephen D. Ratcliffe Community Health Center has a strong focus on community outreach and education, partnering with local schools and community organizations to promote oral health awareness and education. The clinic provides sliding-scale fees for those who are unable to afford private dental care, and accepts Medicaid and other government-sponsored insurance plans.
