The Dental Lifeline Network (DLN) is a non-profit organization that provides comprehensive dental care to adults with special needs across the United States. DLN was founded in 1975 and has since served over 250,000 patients.
DLN operates a network of over 1,000 volunteer dentists and labs in 47 states. These volunteers provide a wide range of dental services, including exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, extractions, and dentures. DLN also offers preventive dental care, such as fluoride treatments and sealants.
To qualify for DLN services, patients must have a disability that makes it difficult for them to access dental care on their own. This includes disabilities such as physical or mental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and chronic illnesses. Patients must also have no other means to pay for dental care.
DLN services are free to patients. The organization is funded by private donations, grants, and government contracts.
If you or someone you know is an adult with a disability who needs dental care, you can contact DLN to see if you qualify for services. You can find more information on DLN’s website or by calling 1-800-333-2357.
